September Club Meeting. The club is supporting two special events at the meeting this Sunday.

1) We will have an auction of approximately 15 root-over-rock ficus trees on half of Dan Turner. We plan to start the auction around 1:30 p.m.. To allow folks plenty of time to look at the trees before the auction, Barry and I plan to arrive at the library around 12:30 p.m. and place the trees outside of the building for viewing (weather permitting). Cash is preferred for this auction but we will still be able to accept checks and electronic payments if needed.

2) We are hosting a bonsai pot swap and sale. I invite members to bring any bonsai pots that they would like to possibly swap with another member. Because not everyone has pots to swap, you may also purchase pots from other members. This is a member-to-member transaction (club not collecting money or making change) so I encourage you to bring cash if case you want to buy a pot from another member. I know that some members are especially interested in mame and shohin size pots, but please feel free to bring pots of all shapes and sizes to make this a fun and successful event.
